The members of our courteous staff are available to assist you.
Office Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Appointments
Examinations and consultations are by appointment only. Your referring physician's office may have made an appointment for you. If you have not been referred here, but have a retinal problem, or would like a second opinion, call our receptionist to make an appointment. We make every effort to honor appointment times. If you are unable to keep your appointment, or are going to be late, please call the office as soon as possible to reschedule. This courtesy allows us to be of service to other patients.
Telephone calls
Please do not hesitate to call our office if you have any questions regarding your condition, medication, tests, or treatment. The doctor will instruct the appropriate staff member to respond, or will return your call as soon as practical. Many diseases have similar symptoms, so if you call with a complication or a new problem, please understand you will need an examination in the office before any diagnosis can be made or treatment can be rendered.

Emergencies

We encourage our patients who have an urgent problem to call the office for instructions.

401-274-5844   PROVIDENCE
401-294-9429   NORTH KINGSTOWN
401-658-0047   CUMBERLAND

We have arranged a coverage schedule with other doctors so that a qualified retina specialist can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When the office is closed, our answering service will take your name, number, and message, and contact the doctor who is covering emergencies. They will return your call as soon as possible.

In a true emergency, go to the nearest hospital emergency room. The physician there will begin treatment and call us.
