Payment

Picture
Our experienced billing department ensures accurate accounting of all payments.
Office services
Patients are requested to pay at the time of service. Please be prepared to pay any copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, and other services not covered by insurance. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Our office does not extend credit.
Health insurance
We participate in many of the major plans available in this region. To “participate” means we bill your insurance company and accept its approved amount as payment in full. Your plans may require you to pay a specified amount (your deductible) before they make any payments. You are responsible for your deductible, and also any copayment, coinsurance, or other unpaid balance. Please remember, health insurance is intended to help patients meet the cost of medical service; it is not a substitute for payment. Your insurance contract defines to what extent the company will cover our services to you.
Managed Care
If you are a member of an HMO or other managed care plan, you must obtain the appropriate authorization from your plan prior to your exam if you want them to pay for your care.
